Below is map of the lush and picturesque town of Port Antonio, Jamaica. As you can see from the map, the main feature of the town is its twin harbours. You can enter Port Antonio from the East, travelling East from Kingston along the South coast, wrapping around the island at Morant Point. Alternatively you can travel from Kingston across the the Island on a route called Junction road. This road intersect the main road from Ocho Rios at a place called Annato Bay. From here you enter Port Antonio from the West.

The main part of Port Antonio is shaped like a horseshoe that cradles the large East Harbour. On the eastern tip of the horseshoe is Folly Point Lighthouse. The old Fort George, now Titchfield High School was built on the shorter western tip known as Titchfield Peninsula. The main road runs along both harbours through towns which turns into Harbour Street along the East Harbour and West Palm Avenue along the West Harbour.

If you drive up the hill to Bonnie View, you'll get a spectacular panoramic view of Port Antonio. From the map, you can see that Navy Island sits across from the tip of Titchfield peninsula. This is where the jet-setting Errol Flynn had his home and entertained movie stars like Bettie Davis and Ginger Rogers. You can take the ferry from Fort George over to Navy Island.

Most of the great hotels and villas with the exception of Triden Villas and Anchovy House are located to the East of town and are not shown on the map. Port Antonio has an abundance of hidden coves, lagoons, and waterfalls. The beautiful Frenchman's Cove is shown on the map and the famous Blue Lagoon is off the map further East. One mile further East of Frenchman's Cove is San San Beach which was featured on the TV movie "Treasure Island". This is a perfect beach for swimming and snorkling. Just a little further East you'll find Boston Beach and the best jerk chicken and pork in Jamaica.
