
Ocho Rios Map
Below is a map of Ocho Rios, Jamaica. This map is not scaled and should be used only as a reference for locating places. Although this map does not show many details, it shows you where some of the major hotels and shopping centers are located.
If you are visiting Ocho Rios, most likely you will be coming from Montego Bay. When you pass Dunn's River Falls on your right (not shown on map), you'll just be entering the town of Ocho Rios. At this point you'll be able to see the town across the harbour. You'll then pass the old Bauxite pier on your left before entering the main commercial section of Ocho Rios.
The main road continues straght and is really a bypass for the town of Ocho Rios. As you pass The Ruins restaurant on the right, Main Street, Ocho Rios slips off on your left. Main Street is where many of the older hotels as well as major shopping are located. The entrance to the cruise ship pier and Island Village shopping Centre is on the left just as you enter Main Street from the main road coming in from Montego Bay.
Soni's Shopping Plaza with it's many inbond and duty free shops is located on the right as you travel further up Main Street. The main Craft market is right across the street from Soni's Plaza. Just down the street from Soni's is the main vendor's market where you can find just about any thing you need - from fresh fruits and produce to clothes, shoes, and souvenirs.
The main road comes to a round-about not too far from the intersection with Main Street. Take a right here and you'll be on the main road that takes you to Kingston through Fern Gully. Just up the hill on this road to Kingston, is the road that takes you to Shaw Park Garden. If you continue straight on the main road through Ocho Rios, it will take you to Tower Isle, Boscobel, Port Maria, and Port Antonio.
