As a kids friendly family resort, Starfish has a kid's center with the facilities and staff to ensure that children have a fun vacation and parents can take time relax and enjoy themselves. There is a water park with an huge kids pool, spraying water fountains, and a winding 124-foot waterslide. Children are kept entertained with a wide rage of activities including theme parties, circus, water sports, and other land activities. For a daily fee, you can leave your little ones at the supervised kids club from 9am - 5pm. And if you want to have a romantic dinner without the kids, babysitting service is offered after 5pm for an additional fee.
Starfish Trelawny has 4 swimming pools including the seashell pool with its swim-up bar, built-in seats, and waterslide. There is also a sport pool where all the competitive fun-filled water sport activities takes place. The resort also has a spa, internet cafe, and a conference room.
Dining
When a resort offers six dining choices, you would expect to spend hundreds of dollar per nights. But this is exactly what you get at Starfish for much less. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet style in the open-air Starfish buffet with its open-air kitchen. At Casablanca, you can get authentic four course gourmet Jamaica/Mediterranean cuisine for dinner. Experience the pleasure of Japanese Tepanyaki cooking at Munasan where you food is cook right in front of you. Enjoy the taste of Italy at Giuseppe or get your jerk chicken and beef patties at Reggae Cafe. To fill that spot between meals, the Seashell Bar and Grill on the main pool deck serves Hamburger, Hot Dog, Ice Cream, and Sodas. Unless you purchase a platinum plan, there is a fee or surcharge for meals at all restaurants.
Accommodations
Starfish Trelawny has 350 rooms including 37 pool & garden cottages. Most of the rooms are called Tower rooms and are grouped into two categories - Standard and Superior and accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child. The cottages accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. - Garden or Mountain View (standard): These rooms sleep a maximum of 3 people.
- Ocean View (Superior): The same as Garden or Mountain view but faces the ocean instead. Sleeps a maximum of 3 people.
- Cottage: These have are close to the pool with garden view and sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. 37 Rooms + 1 Presidential Suite/Cottage
- Quad: These are slightly bigger cottages with mountain view and speep 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
