Sandals Montego Bay - Luxuries on the Beach

Sandals Montego Bay was the first ever sandals resort and the company still makes it their flagship resort. There are bigger, and more luxurious Sandals properties, but the company has invested in massive expansion, renovation, and upgrade to make this property a favorite of honeymooners and lovers alike. This is one of the liveliest of the Sandals resorts with a big party atmosphere including different theme nights. The 26 acres resort is located on the longest private beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and close to the best nightlife in town. The rooms and villas are spread along the 1700 ft of white-sand beach with spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea.

Sandals Montego Bay combines an artfully manicured landscape, a pristine stretch of white-sand beach, and an lively and upbeat feel to create a casual but elegant resort with a relaxing island feel. For accommodation, you can stay in the 1600 sq ft Prime Minister's Beachfront suite with its imposing living room and dining area and separate grand bedroom with marble bathroom. Or chose any of the rooms and suites in the Bayroc Estate Beachfront Villas. With two other Sandals resorts close by, you have 14 dining options to chose from. The abundant of land, water sports, and tours will ensure your Jamaica vacation is anything but boring.

Dining

Sandals Montego Bay has five restaurants that you can choose from, but you also have the option of dining at the nearby Sandals Inn and Sandals Royal Plantation resorts. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style at the Bayside restaurant. You can grab hot dogs, burgers, and other grilled favorites throughout the day at the OK Corral which is transformed into a Tex-Mex restaurant at night.

Entertainment

Rooms and accommodations

Sandals Montego Bay was the former Bay Roc Hotel which was famous for its jet-setting celebrities. The Bay Roc Estate Beachfront Villa Suites are 59 recently added luxurious rooms and suites - all with a spectacular view of the Ocean. Most of the accommodations are located along the long stretch of beach or in the main house, where most bedrooms face the sea and include private balconies. Most rooms include meticulously crafted four-poster mahogany beds.
